Shrewsbury Market Hall is widely praised as a vibrant and charming destination, consistently earning accolades as Britain's Favourite Market. Visitors love the incredible variety of independent stalls, the diverse and delicious food options, and the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. While some find the building's modern architecture less appealing, the interior's charm and the quality of the offerings are undeniable highlights.
"Cute!!!
The stalls, people, vibe - perfect. Go if you're in the area!
Special mention to the lady who runs the cookware stall - bought some cute bits and asked her about food. Straight away she emphatically told me to try the Thai place. I went straight there and it was amazing and so cheap!!! The bookstore on the top floor is quaint and a really lovely woman runs it. She showed me an amazing 2nd edition copy of Lord of the rings. Overall, charming, friendly, good food, great stalls. 👍"

"So many things to see inside and many food options! Defo recommend taking some time to stroll around and go to the top as well to read about the history of the building (I personally think the 60s architecture was horrific, but inside it’s very nice)"
