Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the stunning panoramic views from the summit, often spotting Lincoln Cathedral on clear days. The extensive network of walking trails, suitable for both leisurely strolls and more challenging hikes, is a major draw. It's also highly recommended for dog walkers and families, with free parking adding to its appeal. Some note the lack of on-site facilities and the need to be aware of horse riders.

"This is a beautiful place to visit for a picnic or bike ride. The park is huge and there are good pathways all around. Some of the big ones have been gravelled but if you fancy a track there are plenty of them just off the main one. The carpark is free which is a bonus. Please be mindful if you're taking your doggies to be vigilant as even though there are pathways that say no horseriders you might still come across one."

"Lovely peaceful place, we walked over 5 miles. Well worth a walk up to see the miners statue, the views are stunning. On a clear day you can see Lincoln Cathedral which is 32 miles away, we could just see it yesterday. Highly recommended πŸ’› πŸ’› πŸ’›"

"A great place to walk the dog. It’s a wide open place with good paths. It’s buggy and wheelchair accessible. Has a small car park.. The hole family will love the walks you can follow along short routes or long."
