"Another fabulous National Trust property. So much to see and learn about its history and the family that lived there. Extensive grounds and buildings. Definitely worth climbing the 78 steps to the top of the tower, great views. Lovely coffee shop, shop and you can buy plants there too. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Someone gave us an excellent introduction to our visit which was useful. Highly recommend!"

"Sissinghurst Castle is truly outstanding! There’s plenty of parking available, and the food selection is excellent with two different areas to choose from. The grounds are stunning, with lots of walks to enjoy, and even a lake where dogs can have a refreshing swim.

It’s also a fantastic place for children, with lots of space and things to explore. Just a note: strollers aren’t allowed inside the premises, but they can be parked conveniently next to reception.

The history of the castle is fascinating, especially learning about Vita’s remarkable and inspiring life. Sissinghurst is the perfect mix of beauty, history, and family-friendly fun – highly recommended for a day out!"
