"Neatly tucked away on the edge of Thornton is Skippool Creek. Beautiful little walk down seeing the boat graveyard. Some excellent views of old vessels and wooded walkways and Jetty’s that are falling apart. Plenty of birds and an excellent view down the river wyre and estuary. Definitely worth a look for any photos, bird watching or just a pleasant walk."
