What is there to do?
(No tourist shit, I’m from Liverpool, just want to get out more). As I said I want to get out more but I can never find anything to do on Google because it’s always tourist shite like the museums or to go and “see the liver building” like I haven’t seen it a million times. Free…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Mersey Ferry for its spectacular views of Liverpool's skyline and historic docks, coupled with an engaging historical commentary. The ferry is noted for its excellent value, accessibility, and the enjoyable riverside walks available from Seacombe. While most experiences are positive, a few reviewers have mentioned occasional issues with ticket staff attentiveness.
"Took “the ferry ‘cross the Mersey….” it has been a few years since I last did but I was on the Royal Iris last time too. There was a commentary playing which actually gave some interesting facts and local history! Best to be starboard side out of Seacombe as the first part is all about Birkenhead and Cammell Laird’s as you go up stream to hook back down to pier head Liverpool side. So it’s not a straight line crossing due to current, tidal flow and shipping lanes. The whole crossing was great fun and I think worth the £7.20 for an adult single."

"The ferry service itself is pretty good. Ferry staff ok. 2 stars lost for ignorant ticket woman. (08.45 14th August) place was empty , arrived to buy a ticket , woman didn't look up, just carried on typing away on her phone , I waited , and waited and waited some more , after nearly 2 mins I said "hello" she promptly put her phone down and sold me a ticket."

"Traveling on this ferry between the two banks of the river is a beautiful and pleasant journey. Passengers can see the city and its many landmarks from the middle of the river. It's a peaceful and enjoyable journey."
