Reviews Summary

St. Andrew's Stadium is lauded for its authentic, old-school football atmosphere and passionate fanbase, offering a genuine taste of English football heritage. While the stadium's character is a major draw, some visitors note aging facilities, particularly for away fans, and limited food options. Recent upgrades aim to enhance the experience, but the ground's traditional charm remains its defining feature.

"After spending millions on the home end but not spent a penny on away end. One lift that broke twice. We had to go through home fans to get to away platform.
The platform wasn't wide enough to pass other fans to get to toilet. The platform was also too short so standing fans blocked 1/4 of the pitch yet home disabled fans had a nice wide platform to sit on.
The accessibility steward was brilliant but the whole of the other stewards were abysmal. Asked a couple of them questions they just looked at me not understanding English.
The accessible toilet had no lock as it was broken same as the arm support. I won't be visiting again as this ground away facilities are not fit for purpose and away fans treated like second class citizens.
What was most embarrassing was an old man giving abuse to away fans yet nothing was done."

"Went to see a friendly against Forest, ticket was £15, reasonable. Nothing special about the ground. Disappointed they had no vegetarian options to eat on the day, real let down. Chocolate bar and tea was £5."

Shakil Rahman

"Visited for the home game against Shrews and the atmosphere outside was superb. A few over-zealous security scanning stations make for a fairly tedious experience as you try to gain access - especially the ridiculous queues to get to the Gil Merrick stand, when you could just walk past down the side of the queues and bypass them entirely! Anyway, the club feels positive and vibrant again and it was a decent day out in the second city."
