Visiting Wrexham over Easter. Would be grateful for any tips 😊

We are staying near Bangor on Dee. (Mid 30s couple) Is Erddig walkable from the city centre? If so, is there a good route? Are there any other sights you would recommend? I did the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct last year and really enjoyed it, along with Chirk Castle and tunnel. We…

(UK based) Evening all, we're travelling up to Alton Towers with the kids, but haven't been to the area, as we're so near the Peak District, can anyone particularly wonderful peaky places to visit in that AONB?

We'll only have a day or two, so want to make the most of it. We're not adverse to a good hike, but have a five year old, so limited by her effort level!

"Great walk up from Matlock centre, I remember when we first discovered this Church on a walk from Matlock Bath many years ago in the snow around New Years eve as dusk was falling and mist all around.
It was like the scene from a Gothic horror film.........then the pub across the road beckoned with a warm fire and a cosy glow..couldn't resist."

Martin Benton

"Really good church. My mate got married in this church. The church was beautiful and well maintained. The grounds were clean and tidy. The service was great. The only downfall would be there is not lot of parking. Luckily my mate house is two roads away,"
