"A beautiful church. The White Church.
It is the oldest building in continual use in the area and most likely occupies similar ground as the church in Norman times.
Dedicated to St Mary, the Mother of Christ, the church pastor is a very warm and welcoming lady.
I visited coincidencely in time for the 10am liturgy.
The church has a nice statue of Our Lady holding the child Jesus.
Protected by a carpet is a brass to +Henry Rowdell 1452. And a Hatchment to Archbishop William Laid who as Bishop of London was rector of Northolt. He was executed by a puritan parliament during the reign of King Charles I in1645. Both men are memorialized in the Church of England calendar of saints. The being "canonized" during the restoration after the end of Commonwealth.
St Mary's has a well kept graveyard and is above Yeading Brook.
It is a warm and welcoming community.
Very worth a visit."

"Nice looking 13th century church next to Belvue Park. It was locked on our visit but there is a graveyard outside which is worth looking through. Many of graves we saw were early twentieth century but some were older. The bell tower is a prominent feature of the local landscape."

Dufus Wombat

"Beautiful church. Such a quiet oasis in a maddening Northolt.
I love it there."
