Nice park nearby calledCae Glas nice show of summer flowers plenty of room to sit and enjoy packed lunch etc. Also most times there is plenty of room to walk around quiet part of town with nice wide pavements. Main car park not far away and walking is all level."

"Beautiful church with a stunning tower dates 1600s. Church is beside a historical boy’s school from the 1400s this little patch of historical buildings is like going back in time. Just around the parameters of the church and school, you’re back to 2025 with traffic and modern shops. The church is a lovely stone church but I see red brick placed a bit like wattle in places too. Some nice stone carved heads around the entrance. A gigantic Celtic cross in the churchyard with interlacing knot work of snakes, what appears to be gold coins, I believe a nativity scene but the figures are very ancient Ireland formed. The knot work using snakes, gold coins, the critic triad (triple goddess symbol) is symbolically quite pagan. The other side of cross is Christian. Perhaps the person was trying to get a message cross to coexist religiously. Also reminds me of the story of Druids and Romans the way snakes and gold coins are worked together"
