"What a fascinating church from the moment you step into the south porch, which describes the brief history of the church. The eight diamond panes of Tudors glass dating from 1537-47. The wall tablets commemorate 108 victims of enemy action in East Grumstead on 9 July 1943 and 3 victims of a flying bomb which fell on 12 July 1944."

"Beautiful church with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Quite a mixture of styles and predominately grey inside. Its lofty Nave, Chancel and dark interior give it character and dignity. The rather splendid organ case was unexpected, and the name of the organ builders, Morgan and Smith of Brighton, somewhat surprising. I'm not sure that they're still in business?
Anyway,I'm pleased I visited."

Philip
