"Great views of the Viaduct whilst going on walks for fresh fresh air"

Inam Ghafoor

"The brick buttress with arch shaped brickwork immediately alongside which you can clearly see in the photos is the abutment of Brunel's original timber viaduct which the present viaduct replaced. Brunel built all the viaducts on the GWR originally in timber as they cost a fraction of brick built viaducts and quicker to build, that enabled the GWR to open the railway quicker and get the money rolling in. Then go back 25 yrs later and replace them with brick viaducts alongside. Genius."

EDWARD PERRY

"Nice place to walk the dog in the sunshine. You can pass under the viaduct and walk through the woods behind."
