Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Stoneleigh Abbey for its fascinating history, beautiful grounds, and engaging guided tours. The afternoon tea is a highlight, with many commending the delicious food and excellent service. While generally positive, some note minor issues with accessibility and a less welcoming reception experience on occasion.
"They totally unexpected delight. Entering the grounds from a back road close to the A46 you’re greeted by hundreds of metres of trees and a beautiful bridge over the Avon, when you park you’re near a 1000 year-old oak tree. The buildings are beautiful and the setting absolutely stunning. Hugely enjoyed our afternoon tea which included a delicious savoury option. (cheese scone., cream cheese and onion chutney)
Not many visitors as it’s not well advertised so walking around outside we felt like we own the place.
Huge history with documents stretching back to the 12th century ."
