I parked at Studland South Beach and walked up the hill, enjoying great views on the way. There are a few boggy areas to traverse but nothing too challenging if you've got a decent pair of walking boots.
Best time to visit is from late summer to mid autumn when the heather is in bloom and the surroundings are carpeted with purple."

"Lovely about 40 min walk (one way) from a small free car park to the Agglestone Rock. Not too strenuous. Lovely views and absolute quiet at the Rock. Rock is cool it makes you wonder how did it get there :)
We parked at the 4 spaces free car park near the golf course."

"To appreciate the location better, take the path up from the rock onto the golf course. There are a couple of seats on the tees which give a chance to sit and admire the distant views to Poole Harbour, Studland, Poole bay to Hengistbury Head and across to the Isle of Wight.
Be warned that the paths are not easy and can be steep so be prepared with walking boots and some sustenance.
But the effort will be well worth it on a nice sunny day."
