Don't worry... the council have secured terms to keep superlambanana in place for another three years.
Why has it been exiled to Tithebarn Street for all these years tho :-(

What's the most 'wtf' monument in your town?
For example in Cheltenham we have a big statue of a hare and a minotaur cuddling. Aww... Until you notice that the minotaur has a big brass cock which people love to fondle - so now it's a giant minotaur with a shiny golden cock.

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Superlambanana is widely appreciated as a quirky and iconic symbol of Liverpool, bringing smiles with its unique design and vibrant presence. While some find it a brief stop, its role in the city's cultural landscape and its potential for fun photos are consistently praised. Its ever-changing appearance keeps it relevant, though some prefer its original yellow form.
"We noticed several of these as we travelled around Liverpool. Quirky, brightly coloured and each one different. It wasn't until we took a trip on the Liverpool explorer bus that we found out they are a cross between a lamb and banana! Well, who'd have thought it! Apparently the designs were winners from a competition and they are now positioned all over Liverpool. They look great and made us smile so that deserves 5 stars 😂"

"It’s a great piece of modern Liverpool history, as it has the association with the Lambanana’s being placed around Liverpool during the 2008 Capital of Culture.
My negatives towards it is how it has been used as a political symbol, I’d prefer things such as this to be left intact and just maintained. Hopefully they’ll go back to the original bright yellow colour soon.
It’s just as shown in the photo, it is not worth travelling across the city to see and is located in a heavy student area (Library and Accommodations surround this)."

"Highly recommended. A landmark. They repaint it to keep it up to date."
