"Such a beautiful sanctuaryy for birds with plenty of Hides and observation posts. Extensive walks available around the sanctuary and includes coast path.. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent coffee and gift shop. Definitely recommend a visit. We saw the elusive Bittern and other birds."

"Just the most beautiful place to visit, so many wonderful walks and beautiful flora and fauna to see. Stunning place to visit no matter the time of year. I'm so privileged to be able to live on it's doorstep and get to enjoy it on foot as we as on horse back."

"Lovely stretch of the Orwell river between Trimley Marshes and the Marina at Levington. Stunning scenery. Great area for a walk or birdwatching. Be sure to take binoculars

A walk along the River Deben at Waldringfield is a true delight. Beautiful river and a good place to connect with nature. The gorse is in bloom at the moment adding to the charm and always some birds to see in the estuary. The shingle quayside is quaint with some benches to sit and watch the goings on on the river or just to have a rest, and there were even some brave souls bathing in the river this afternoon. There is an excellent pub for meals and refreshments although it does get busy and this area is a hive of activity. As from May you can take a boat trip down the river. We were hoping to do so today, but it was too early in the season. We will therefore be back to experience the wonderful views from this different perspective."
