The experience is often described as a must-do in London, offering unique perspectives and photo opportunities. Some find the ticket price a bit high for the duration of the paid experience, and occasional overcrowding can detract from the enjoyment.
"The Thames walk on the East side is a captivating historical journey through the maritime story of The River Thames. Although I started my walk at Monument visiting St Dunstans in the east first, the Wapping section is a pleasure to walk through. If you decide to walk on a Sunday, may I recommend pit stop at The Prospect of Whitby, Londons oldest riverside pub Dating back to the 16th Century."

"One of the best sections of the Thames Path is Tower Bridge to Canary Wharf. Stunning views and multiple access points to the beach when the tide is out."

"We walked from Kemble in Gloucestershire to the Thames Barrier. 190 miles. We walked the path in a number of visits over several years. Utterly amazing to see the tiny ditch become the Mighty Thames in London. We loved the birds and animals. The history along the river's length is amazing. Windsor Castle, Hampton Court, the Inklings pub, Tower Bridge, Big Ben...and so many more. I can't take a star off such an experience but...when you walk 190 miles to find the Tourist/Information centre is closed midafternoon, midsummer is shocking, no horrifying. No cool drink available, no icecream, no gifts or memorabilia. Completely perphetic effort by the path organisers."
