Reviews Summary
The Derby Arms Epsom Downs is praised for its beautifully refurbished, cosy interiors and welcoming, dog-friendly atmosphere. While service is generally excellent, with staff noted for their attentiveness, the food quality can be inconsistent, with some dishes receiving mixed reviews. It's a great spot for drinks and enjoying the ambiance, especially on race days or for a relaxed countryside meal.
"Lovely place, good atmosphere. Service was good and the lad serving us was very friendly and polite. The music was just a little too loud for the garden but it wasn't unpleasant. The pork was a little on the dry side but overall, I would recommend for a sunny afternoon/evening out for a meal and meet family or friends. We were in a group and had a great time."

"Location great if you like the outdoors or are going to or from the races, bit too dark in some areas, burger wasn't nice at all, 4 of us had burgers and all said they were not good, others with us who had different food said theirs was alright nothing special. Gap between starter and main was way too long. Dogs barking all the time but dogs are allowed and I knew that, so that is what it is. Would I go back? Probably for a drink if I'm over that way."
