The King's Head is widely praised as a cracking, historic pub with exceptional food and a fantastic selection of local craft ales. Reviewers highlight its reasonable prices and the unique atmosphere, especially the charming cobbled courtyard and the new medieval banquet hall. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, some found the steak sandwiches to be just 'ok'.
"A cracking pub that serves locally produced beverages. Very reasonably priced drinks. Food is next level. Went for the burger, which was up there with one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Highly recommended."

"Nice old pub hidden down an alley way. Great outdoor seating area. We stopped for lunch the barman explained all his craft beers he had on tap, we went for the chiltern lager which was lovely fresh and cold. We ate steak club sandwiches which came full of beef, bacon lettuce and tomato on toasted fresh thick white bread which were ok. Nice vibe and the price was reasonable."
Nardo Raslli
"Tonnes of craft ale selection, Chiltern brewery mostly, plenty of choice on cask and keg, and a really wholesome old fashioned feel to the building, allegedly it used to be an old coaching inn, and still has a lot of its original character."
