Many highlight the beautiful rooms and central location as major draws. Some minor points of feedback mention areas feeling a bit 'tired' and occasional inconsistencies with breakfast quality, but these are generally outweighed by the positive experiences.
"This is the second time we've stayed at the Old Hall Hotel. The first time we were really impressed and this time even more so. We had a beautiful large room, four poster bed, spotlessly clean. Beautiful towels and linen. Hospitality tray was excellent. Really enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast. So much choice, staff were very attentive. Parking outside and a three minute walk to the theatre. We will definitely be back."

"Fantastic experience at a hidden gem. Went there with family for a Sunday roast with all the trimmings.
We were given a huge plate of freshly carved roast beef, which was all home made (even the horseradish), followed by a scrumptious Eton Mess, all for an incredibly good price. Restaurant is in a great location as you can see the gardens outside. Beautiful, old world setting. Service was great too. The manager - who wore a Scottish kilt to honour the hotel's history - couldn't have been more helpful."

"Beautiful old hotel. A little tired but didn't deter, and the very old lift a bit of a hairy ride!! Lol part of charm and character
Upgrade booking not updated. Four poster Room booked not available. Sadly Disappointed. Alistair dealt with well. Very theatrical! Alternative room spacious. Lovely double aspect. Massive bed. Small bathroom. Minimal tea tray, toiletries. Staff really lovely, service fabulous. Attentive. Helpful. Breakfast first day poor both hardly ate. Second day better breakfast alone. Evening meals delicious, beautiful dining room. Lovely relaxed lounge.
Perfect location in centre. Beautiful surroundings. Will return"
