It's highlighted as a hidden gem offering a budget-friendly way to experience the city skyline. However, some guests have noted inconsistent experiences with security staff, with a few reporting rudeness, though others found them polite. Reddit

"I recently checked out the lovely free roof garden at the Post Building, and I highly recommend it! From the rooftop terrace, you get stunning views of the British Museum's dome, as well as fantastic sights stretching towards the City and Westminster.

Best of all, visiting is totally free, and there's no need to book your spot in advance. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to sign in and show your ID during the security check. You can find the entrance right next to the Nationwide Bank on New Oxford Street."

Tony

"Amazing views, bit of a hidden gem, well worth a visit. Only issue as mentioned in other reviews (here and on other review sites) is the security guy. Hard to complain when you're getting a free viewing platform but the guy really could not be more rude. Not only to myself and wife but I heard a lovely lady asking a very reasonable question and the guy was incredibly rude, there really is just no need for him to be this way, hard to know what his issue is? It would be great if his manager could read the reviews and have a word with this person about the basics of human politeness and interaction!"

Paul

"Great half hour spent up here on a very cold but bright morning.Great views to be had considering you are only 9 floors up.Because it was a cold morning there were hardly any people up there, which made it even better.Great toilet facilities and very polite security guys at tge entrance.Remember to take some id with you."

It's a testament to how urban developments can incorporate public benefits, providing a free and open area for Londoners and visitors alike to enjoy. TikTokReddit

The rooftop terrace is designed with a mix of seating areas and greenery, creating a pleasant environment to relax and take in the views. It's a relatively new addition to London's public spaces, offering a less crowded alternative to more famous viewpoints. Navigating Entry and Security

Accessing The Post Building's rooftop is straightforward but requires a key piece of documentation: a photo ID. Visitors must present a valid form of identification, such as a driving license or passport, at the reception desk. This is a standard security procedure for the building. TikTokReddit

Once your ID is verified, you'll be granted access to the lifts that take you up to the ninth floor.
