"I hired the private dining room to celebrate my 80th birthday with friends and family. Denika liased with the chef for us to obtain a suitable formal dining menu. We were allowed to tweak this to suit us all. The food was excellent and everyone remarked how much they enjoyed the whole evening. We had our own waiters/waitresses who all did a great job. It was a very memorable occasion made possible by all involved at the Saracens Head. Thank you."

"We had a room on the top floor to the front of the building. Unfortunately the weather turned very hot during our stay so we had the window open all night but it was very noisy. Maybe I should have asked to change rooms but I didn't. However the room - although small - had everything we needed. There was plenty of hot water and the shower was good. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff members we met were friendly and efficient. Very good breakfast and reasonably priced evening meals. If we were to go there again I would ask for a room to the rear of the hotel...and not on the top floor."
