"We got married here April 2025. The Vines of Rochester is the perfect small intimate wedding venue we only had 30 guest but venue can also manage larger weddings too . The staffs attention to detail through out all our meetings and emails was outstanding and the quality of the food and wines is amazing. Every room for guest is breath taking. From the moment we see this venue in person we instantly feel l in love with every aspect of this venue the setting is nothing short of magical , we were taken by the venue’s timeless charm and picturesque setting. Nestled in the heart of Rochester, this venue offers a unique blend of historic elegance and modern sophistication that made our special day truly unforgettable.
The Vines’ location is absolutely ideal, situated just a stone’s throw from Rochester Cathedral and the iconic Castle. The surrounding area, with its cobblestone streets and historic buildings, provided a stunning backdrop for our photos and added an extra layer of romance to our wedding day.
We managed to get some amazing photos by the castle .
The venue itself is both beautiful and versatile. We had our ceremony in a tipi that was located in the garden which was impeccably maintained and offered a peaceful, intimate atmosphere. It felt like we were in our own private oasis.
For the reception, The Vines offers a charming indoor space that perfectly complements the outdoor areas. The room is spacious, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light, and the decor is understated yet elegant, allowing us to easily personalize the space to fit our vision. Our guests were full of compliments on how truly beautiful this amazing venue is , the venue also comes with 11 rooms that are so uniquely designed there just beautiful .
The venue’s facilities are top-notch. The bridal dressing room was a luxurious haven where I could prepare with my bridesmaids and was provided with a beautifully set out breakfast with champagne. A beautiful start to my big day.
The team at The Vines of Rochester deserves special recognition. From the planning stages to the big day, they were incredibly helpful and professional. They listened to our ideas, offered valuable suggestions, and ensured that everything ran smoothly. Their attention to detail and commitment to making our day perfect did not go unnoticed.
The catering was another highlight. Oh my gosh! We had the festival wedding so small dishes of different selections of food was passed throughout the venue and we have got to say the food was another level of deliciousness all our guests very much enjoyed as did we.
In summary, The Vines of Rochester in Kent is an exceptional wedding venue. Its combination of historical charm, beautiful surroundings, and top-notch service made it the perfect choice for our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and we highly recommend it to any couple looking don’t hesitate they will not disappoint . Our day was truly magical, and The Vines played a huge part in making it so.

The whole day was perfect, Becky couldn’t have been any more helpful. Made us all feel at ease and made sure that we were all looked after. Right from the day before the wedding right up until evening dances!
The venue was perfect for what we wanted, a nice intimate wedding with our closest friend and family. The Tipi was perfect and photos in The Vines Park were a wonder addition.
The food was spectacular, and nothing was too much trouble! I highly recommend anyone thinking about getting married to go and view, you will not be disappointed!
