"Nice small museum about the building of Bath.
Only a short walk from the city centre was not busy, so there was plenty of space to slowly wander around.
Interesting photos and models.
Great for anyone into architecture"

Stuart Johnson

"This is a small but very thorough museum that covers the building of neoclassical Bath. It ranges from the initial surveying and financing of the building, through the challenges of steeply sloping terrain, and includes the work of masons, carpenters, joiners, roofers, glaziers, plasterers and onward to the elegant final flourishes.

I ended my visit with a greatly deepened respect for the variety and complexity of skills that went into 18th and 19th Century construction."

Katy vdB

"Its an interesting place...it's not for the dull...it's engaging and interesting if you have and a mind that is interested in things... it's a delight...if not..then you will just not understand..oolitic limestone and the Palladian style...and probably think Botticelli is a cheese or a wine"
