"Really worth a visit, the history here is fascinating. I’m no historian so found everything really well explained and easy to understand. We probably spent maybe an hour and a half walking round. The views were stunning. We were also there on a very calm day, barely even a breeze so it was gorgeous.
Also seems to be a little known path but when you get to the bottom of the (very) step path, go straight over the little foot bridge and up the hill that way. Much quieter path and brings you out just a little higher up than the main bridge. Thought we were going the wrong way but turned out to be a winner.
For anyone that can’t stomach the walk back up the hill (it’s a slog but doable) there are little shuttle cabs to drive you back up at a small extra charge."

"Really worth a visit, especially on a perfect day, like today! Stunning views. The new bridge is quite remarkable, and very well stabilised. Very busy but it was nice to see so many overseas visitors. The English Heritage run café there is great, with large pasties in evidence and good coffee and cakes.
Tasteful gift shop including an informative exhibition, and with public loos for a wash and brush up. Also an electric shuttle bus to take us elderly tourists back up the very steep hill to Tintagel. Ice cream from a mobile van was very welcome too. Allow 2 plus hours to take it all in. Late morning is best light for photography."
