What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Nevis Range Mountain Gondola for its spectacular views and unique aerial experience, making it a worthwhile trip despite the cost. While some find the ticket and parking prices a bit steep, the breathtaking scenery and the novelty of the gondola often outweigh these concerns. The mountain biking trails are a significant draw for enthusiasts, and the top station offers accessible viewpoints for all.
"Fabulous day out! We did the gondola up, didn't have to wait, and loved the journey up. Very scenic. Walked to both viewpoints at the top and admired the views. Lucky we had a clear day and sunny. Called in at the restaurant and had a sweet treat and a cup of tea. Would love to see this place in winter full of skiers and the bar open etc. Also a shop there but didn't go in. Did think when we paid it was a bit pricey, but the views make it worth while and the uniqueness of the restaurant/highest bar in the UK. Great fun. Lots of bike trails to do if interested. At the bottom, there is a few cafes and shops too. Also the Nevis range hotel. Only downside is having to pay for parking on top of the gondola price. £6 for all day (15 minutes free)."

"Definitely worth a trip up to the top in the Cable Car. The views are sensational and very popular with mountain bikers. Take your bike up on the cable car and ride back down the mountain.
There's some spectacular jumps and paths for the bikers."

"After having been to the Top of Europe before visiting Ben Nevis, admittedly it was a bit disappointing, particularly as the restaurant at the top had barely anything to offer us to eat, apart from stale sandwiches/cake, crisps and drinks. That being said we enjoyed our watching the mountain bikers navigate the terrain downhill and ticking off the highest mountain in the UK off our bucket list. The staff were helpful and friendly. The gondola isn't wheelchair accessible. We didn't buy tickets in advance, it was easy enough to purchase on the day."
