Reviews Summary

Visitors find Town Walls Tower an interesting historical site, particularly for its unique architecture and the chance to collect a National Trust passport stamp. However, its very limited opening hours and lack of extensive interior exhibits mean it's best enjoyed as a brief stop within a larger exploration of Shrewsbury.

"Great little National Trust property. They do have a stamp for your passport book. There is not a guidebook as such (leaflet). The tour was very interesting. There is a small garden and a couple of floors. Not too much to see per floor (not much in the way of furniture/ornamental objects). The windows are so dinky (very narrow and small)! The children liked it here too. I would recommend a visit if you are in the area (and it's open ~ only open a few times a year)."

"Superb grounds. Lovely variety of long and short walks. Huge deer park. Lots to see and explore. Great cafe too!"

Tim Sweetman

"Only a short walk from Shrewsburys other historical attractions, worth having a quick look if your in the area. The tower was closed and there was no information about the tower or any opening days and times so don't know what the inside of the tower is like."
