Visitors consistently praise Ullet Road Unitarian Church for its welcoming atmosphere and versatile event spaces. The beautifully maintained wooden dance floor and excellent acoustics make it a standout venue for Milongas and celebrations. "Perfect Venue for a Monthly Milonga - I was thrilled to attend the monthly Milonga at Ullet Road Church's Hall, and it absolutely exceeded expectations. The organisers did a fantastic job promoting it on Facebook, creating a lovely, welcoming atmosphere.
The star of the show is undoubtedly the beautifully maintained wooden floor – it was an absolute dream to dance on, smooth and perfect for tango. The sound system was excellent, with the beautiful sounds of Tango music flowing evenly throughout the entire hall; there wasn't a bad spot in the room.
Practicalities were also well covered: having kitchen facilities available was a great bonus, and the free on-street parking on the surrounding roads made arriving and leaving a breeze.
A truly wonderful experience from start to finish. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this Milonga to any tango enthusiast!"

"If there was just one church I could photograph weddings at in Liverpool, Ullet Road Church would be it. Reverend Phil is welcoming and very funny, always makes me laugh with a joke or two. When shooting in a church, I am always conscious of being respectful, so being given the great vantage point of shooting from the pulpit means I get an amazing view of the whole space without disrupting the proceedings. I also love how the church supports their couples and are inclusive of all races, genders, sexuality, spiritual beliefs etc. This is something very important to my values as a moedrn wedding photographer. The event space is beautiful, with the cloisters, library and garden available for cocktails post-ceremony, and a large Tudor style reception room for dinner and dancing. The dancefloor is large enough for a stage if the couple want a band or entertainers. It was so fun taking one of my couples back into the church for their portraits; the light through the windows and beautiful old doorway made for some incredible images. The steps outside the main entrance is also perfect for confetti and family portraits, in the summer it's always dappled in sunlight coming through the huge trees that line the church gardens. I'll be heading back to the church next year for another non-traditional wedding, which I'm super excited about."

"We got married here a week ago and have been attending for a little while. Cannot express how kind and supportive Rev Phil and Viki are. We had the most special day and could never thank them enough. Viki married us and was our organiser (we had the ceremony and celebration at the church and church hall). She was exemplary: so kind, confident, and reassuring, guiding us all the way. Massive thanks and big love from Sean and Natasha"
