"Relaxing day out. But….. Didn’t get asked if we had tickets for car park or entrance. Balloon festival!!
They had 5 in total which never left the ground considering the weather was perfect for it. A bit disappointing.
You will need a second mortgage for food and drink. For example. We brought 2 loaded chips with cheese and bacon on it and cost £24."

"Went for balloons and tunes , and monster trucks . During the day they blew a different balloon up each hour by end of the day only 2 actually went up- hardly a balloon festival.
Monster trucks advertised a show at 3 and 6 - the 3 o'clock show never happened- no explanation why and the 6pm lasted 5 minutes .
Advertised no picnics but people were picnicking everywhere - your either allowed or your not - it's not fair on the people who abide by the rules .
Loads of food and drink vans - extremely expensive.
2 minute monster trucks ride - which you had to pre book which sold out very quickly .
12 pm entry which turned into 12.45 for some reason , all in all a very badly run event which we shall never be going to again.
We also paid for parking and no one ever checked if we paid or not"

"I recently attended on a Wednesday as a guest in the hospitality section. Fixing point and AIR cladding supplies sponsored one of the races. The food was very good, buffet style lunch and they had bacon baps and coffee/teas at breakfast.
The bar was rather small inside the hospitality room so drinks were limited.
We got to choose the best dressed horse and enter the private viewing area to watch the race that we sponsored. That was a great experience.
Edit….just been today for the same thing. Really enjoyed it and the new marquee was great. 👍🏼"
