It's a place where the heart of the club truly lies with its dedicated supporters.
"By chance I decided to go to a match here and ever since I've had a soft spot for them the stadium might not be the best but the atmosphere it generates is unreal, the fans are very welcoming and are a great bunch one flaw though is the stewards they just don't do their job properly and don't seem to care but don't let it put you off, I used to laugh at people when they said go to a Hartlepool match you'll love it so I'm glad I bit the bullet I love Hartlepool and I love the ground and fans, if your ever in Hartlepool go to a match I promise you won't be disappointed UTP NSD"

"Very rude staff that worked in the food bar you don’t even get to keep your lid on your bottle off pop which makes it difficult to carry everything I asked if I could keep the lid on she abruptly said no they don’t give you lids are your ground it wasn’t a issue to me if it was healthy and safety the point of this review was to show Middlesbrough ground does provide bottle lids 👍 toilets where awful no lights working no hand dryer working water and tissue all over the floor and toilets didn’t flush very badly organised place"

"Always a brilliant afternoon at Victoria Park! No matter the result The atmosphere supporting Hartlepool United is as vibrant electric, and it's clear. And let me tell you, they've got the refreshments spot on. The burgers are still top-notch – so tasty! The beers are perfectly refreshing, and this time I also tried the coffee, which was surprisingly good – a proper warm-up on a chilly day. Getting to the ground was straightforward too; it's well-signposted and easy to find. All in all, a fantastic experience from start to finish. Great football experience for an football fan , great food and drink, and easy access – what more could you ask for?"

The Heartbeat of Victoria Park: Fan Culture
While the stadium itself might be described as a 'standard League Two ground,' the collective effort of a small group of younger fans to get behind their team is often noted. This energy, combined with the established fan base, creates a unique dynamic. If you're looking for a football ground where the fans are as much a part of the spectacle as the players on the pitch, Victoria Park delivers. It's a place where you can feel the pulse of local pride and witness football fandom in its most authentic form.
Matchday Refreshments: Hits and Misses
However, not all food experiences are positive. Some reviews mention 'dire food' and 'plastic chips,' alongside criticisms of 'grumpy' staff with poor customer skills. There have also been specific complaints about the restroom facilities, with reports of broken lights, non-flushing toilets, and general untidiness. Additionally, a peculiar rule regarding drink bottle lids has been noted, where they are not provided, making it difficult to carry drinks. While the food and drink can be a highlight, it's wise to manage expectations regarding the overall quality and service.
