What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Vnilla is widely praised for its delicious, creamy, and perfectly balanced banana pudding, often compared favorably to NYC's famous Magnolia Bakery. Visitors appreciate the generous portions, friendly service, and the option to try unique monthly specials. While the space is small with limited seating, the outdoor benches and the overall quality of the dessert make it a highly recommended treat. Some find it a bit pricey, and queues can be long during peak times.
"WOW. Would definetly recommend. I got 1/2 and 1/2, meaning 1/2 the classic banana pudding and 1/2 the special which was sticky toffee pudding. Both were amazing, so light, creamy and refreshing and had a good
balance of flavors and ingredient distribution. Tastes very similar to magnolias so anyone wanting a taste of NYC or to relive the memories of it, i’d highly recommend you this spot! I will be back soon.
Note the space is small with limited seating but it’s a short walk to the thames and you can eat by there."

"Vnilla absolutely lives up to the hype. I had the banana pudding with strawberries and it was delicious, creamy, perfectly balanced, and incredibly moreish. It instantly reminded me of Magnolia Bakery’s banana pudding, just a touch sweeter, which I personally loved.
I went on a Monday during working hours so it was nice and quiet, but I know the TikTok buzz means it can get very busy at peak times. That said, it’s great that they have benches outside so you can sit and enjoy it even when it’s packed.
My only small wish is for more size options. The current tub is perfect for sharing, but it can feel a bit much for one person, and I would have happily taken a bigger one home if that were an option.
Flavours, quality, service, atmosphere all a solid 5 out of 5. I’ll definitely be back."

"I had such a lovely experience at Vanilla. It’s more like a cozy coffee shop vibe, and we tried the half-and-half banana pudding with vanilla and the banana pudding with chocolate. Both were amazing and incredibly satisfying. The chocolate topping on the pudding was absolutely delicious and added the perfect rich touch.
I asked the waitress to choose a topping for me, and he recommended strawberries, which honestly balanced the creaminess of the pudding so beautifully. I ended up loving the combination so much. The strawberries with the pudding and the tiny chocolate balls were a highlight. The little chocolate balls melt in your mouth and have this light, slightly fizzy texture that makes the whole dessert feel fun and unique."
