"Average place
2p coin machine is fun but the prizes are awful and a con"
Gee Gee
"Highlight is the old fashioned bowling alley at the end. My 5 year old loved it and much cheaper than the actual bowling alley further on. Good prize selection too for tickets."
Kate Leeke
"Wow a lot has changed. Used to be really good. Now... Wow!
Now this is what a modern day arcade should look like! Plenty of video games, investment in newer games, indoor bowling and a little redemption for people who like that kinda thing. Check out the Dancing Stage Euromix 2 section! Probably one of the best tributes to Dance Dance Revolution in the UK! Brighton Pier also has a very Dance Dance Revolution setup too! Amazing!! PLEASE keep it maintained, it's a huge rarity these days and you just cannot find this kind of tribute to video games unless you buy a time machine and go back to 1997. Amazing stuff!"

The Arcade Experience
While the 2p coin machines are a classic draw, some visitors have noted that the prizes can be a bit of a letdown. However, the overall cost for interactive games is considered fair, and the prize selection is generally decent. The staff are frequently praised for their friendliness, contributing to a positive atmosphere.
For those looking for a more rewarding prize experience, the old-fashioned bowling alley located towards the back of the arcade is often recommended. Despite occasional minor technical glitches reported by some visitors, it offers good value and a better prize selection compared to some of the other arcade games.
Bowling Fun for Everyone
While there's a bowling alley on the beach side, the one located within the arcade is often cited for its accessibility and affordability. Despite occasional reports of minor issues with machines not registering balls or tickets not dispensing, the overall sentiment is positive. The bowling alley is frequently mentioned as a place where kids have a lot of fun and where the ticket prizes are quite good.
This attraction is particularly valuable on days when the weather isn't ideal for the beach, providing a solid indoor option. The combination of low cost and high enjoyment makes the Wellington Pier bowling alley a must-try for many visitors.
Night Sky Spectacles
The pier's position on the coast and its unobstructed views make it an ideal vantage point for observing and photographing such phenomena. The reflections on the water add an extra layer of magic to these already spectacular displays.
Beyond auroras, the pier offers opportunities for general night photography, with the lights of the amusements and the silhouette of the pier against the dark sky creating dramatic and atmospheric shots.
