What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Wenchford Picnic Site is a beloved spot for families and dog owners, primarily due to its delightful shallow brook perfect for splashing. Visitors appreciate the natural beauty and ample space for picnics and exploration. However, the lack of on-site food facilities and the pay-and-display parking (which can be cash-only) are noted drawbacks.
"Nice picnic area and water play for kids, easy to find. Parking is around £4.40 for 2-4 hours. Half a minute walk to the picnic area. There are few tables but if busy bring picnic chairs and food as there's no shop there, only toilets. Great water play for kids in the stream, very shallow and safe. Bring water toys."

"Me and my partner went to Wenchford on Sunday. A beautiful place in the Forest. Lovely Blackpool Brooke for the children to play and splash in, and for the dogs to paddle in. Lots of trees to sit under when it's really warm. No café so take own picnic.
Nice clean toilets. Hot water and plenty of soap. Could do with hand dryers though as non there!! Had to use toilet paper to dry my hands!!
The road in Wenchford could do with tarmacing too as very dusty!! Poor cars full of dust.
Otherwise a very nice place to spend the day."
