The lighthouse was amazing and my kids loved it especially at top looking out. We had food in the cafe and the service was great and the staff were friendly. The toilets were clean and tidy. "Great views from the top and scenic local walks that make this a lovely afternoon. Perfect if you like seabirds and you might even spot a dolphin. We spent about an hour in the lighthouse itself and John who was up by the lamp at the top definitely knew his stuff. One of the last lighthouses of it's kind, hearing about the technology and history was really interesting and the kids loved getting to turn the 4.5 tonne lamp. They sound the fog horns twice a week when the birds aren't nesting so check their Facebook page if you want to time your visit to hear those too."
