Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the delightful service and cheerful atmosphere at Whitstable Harbour Arm, with many highlighting the delicious seafood and relaxed seaside vibe. While some find the food a bit pricey for the portion size and note the inconvenient restroom location, the overall experience, especially the drinks with a view and dog-friendly policies, makes it a highly recommended spot.

"Yesterday we had lunch for the first time at The Harbour Garden in Whitstable. We didn’t have a reservation, but the manager greeted us at the door with a warm smile and kindly found us a table. We went with our two dogs, and it was a lovely experience overall.
The decoration transported us, it truly felt like we were dining somewhere in Spain. The weather was warm, the atmosphere was cheerful, and our server Freya was absolutely outstanding. Her kindness and attentiveness made our lunch extra special. She was a delight!
Now, regarding the food:
The oysters were delicious 🦪, but the lobster salad was just okay, and the mussels were fine, not amazing, but I still enjoyed them because I love mussels. In our opinion, the food was a bit overpriced for what we got.

✨ Service & atmosphere: 5/5
🍽️ Food: 4/5
💷 Value for money: 3/5

One important thing to mention is the restroom situation: you have to exit the restaurant and walk for a few minutes to find the bathrooms, which isn’t ideal, especially for people with mobility issues or in wheelchairs, as you need to pass through a bar area.
On the bright side, this place is dog-friendly and has plenty of water bowls for furry friends 🐶💦. The service from the manager, Freya, and the entire staff was excellent.
Sadly, we won’t return for a meal, but we’ll definitely be back for drinks with a view! 😉
Thank you again, Freya, for your wonderful service."

"We stopped here quickly before leaving Whitstable and were so glad we did! The fish and chips were amazing—crispy, fresh, and full of flavour. Lovely rustic setting with a relaxed seaside vibe. A perfect way to end the day!"
