Reviews Summary
Woodston Ponds is a surprisingly pleasant nature reserve, praised for its peaceful atmosphere and the unique boardwalk experience. Visitors enjoy spotting wildlife and the tranquil walk along the River Nene, though the seasonal nature of the central pond and the condition of the boardwalk require some awareness. It's a good spot for a quiet escape within the city.
"A former industrial site that has been converted in to an nature reserve that consists of a large central seasonal pond full of reeds surrounded by a circular boardwalk that takes you through both grasslands and hedgerow areas with the Northern edge of the site running alongside the River Nene.
A quiet area in the city with only limited visitors and suitable for all ages with care - the boardwalk is slightly raised and is quite narrow and certain areas of the boards are worn and others have a bit of give so care needs to be taken in places.
Lots of wildlife to be seen across the site."

"This was surprisingly nice I canโt lie!
Itโs a nice little walk round on the boardwalks I think the weather may of helped as if it was raining, hailing or snowing I donโt think I would feel so cheery about it but, it was lovely and sunny and we had such a lovely walk and saw Ducks, Swans and a Waterfall! So yeh, it was a really nice walk! โบ๏ธ๐
