"Visited St Peter's Church on Saturday 1st July 2017 as part of the Church Fete. The church is having the tower repaired as part of renovation. The scaffolding around the tower was very expensive to put up but this first phase of renovation will preserve this historic building. The church was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1068 and is thought to be Saxon in origin.
