"I loved roman history before going but I must say that the wroxeter roman city is a must see English heritage site. It's is an interesting insight into bath houses. A must see, easy access and free parking! Can't go wrong."

"The ruin probably at grand scale, although it looks not that complicated with what still stands. Spending enough time to make myself back into time with the instructions on each spot with imagination, still can feel the prosperity at the time. It would be nice to have guide to take us back in old times, if possible. Group guides are around, but I’m not sure if they are staffs or self-hired."

Jen Chieh Han

"Far more interesting than I'd expected. Though I arrived with little opening time left, I had just about enough to view everything (albeit at a slightly rushed pace). A central part of a much bigger, and investigated city/town - the size of which would be much of the surrounding countryside.

Incudes a reconstruction of a Roman villa, with walls showing how construction was (variations of wattle and daub).

The large and prominent entrance way the last remains of a magnificent central building, bathhouse and accompanying buildings.

For anyone with an interest in all things Roman, would heartily recommend a visit."
