"Tucked away in a charming alley off Hatton Garden, this lovely pub is a real hidden gem. It was bustling when we visited on Saturday afternoon — perhaps thanks to the City Mayor’s Parade — but the lively atmosphere added to its appeal.
There are plenty of small tables and chairs set up along the alleyway, as well as cozy seating areas both downstairs and upstairs. The pub is full of character, with thoughtful details and a warm, welcoming feel. The narrow staircase leading to the upper floor adds to its quirky charm.
We only stopped in for drinks and a few snacks, but the pies on the menu sounded interesting — something we’ll come back to try. The food options are limited to small snacks and pies, but that seems to suit the place perfectly.
The only downside was the toilet — there’s just one, and it could have been kept a bit cleaner.
Still, despite that minor issue, we really enjoyed our visit and would happily return, especially to try those pies."
