Visitors praise the Barry Goldwater Visitor Center for its incredible history, prestige, and stunning mountain scenery. The exhibits are informative, and the shop offers a wide selection of quality items. "The Academy is incredible. Some of the best backdrop sceneries in the world! So much history and prestige here. Every building was incredible. So well done. Absolutely worth visiting! The visitors center is very informative and the store has everything you should want in any size!"
Kevin Maloy
"It is a great place to learn about the history of the Air Force and the Academy. The building was easy to enter for the young and the elderly, and also for wheelchairs. You can get a great view of the mountains and the area close to Colorado Springs. There is a beautiful showcase with a Bible scroll from the Holocaust as well as information about a 3D cast of Jesus. Also, memorabilia, you can purchase to remember you visit."
Jim Byers
"Site is on the base and you cannot enter if you don’t have a military ID or an invite. In December 2025, the new visitor is planned to open (which is outside base perimeter) but till then - nothing to do… 😢"
