"Most definitely been impacted by mosaic (local phosphate mining company) overpumping from the springs In this River basin& aquifer, general development, heavy boat traffic on the weekends, etc.
Still a nice River don't get me wrong, but there's far better examples of nice top rivers of FL, get a rivers of Florida book and experience those to see what I mean.
Don't really highly recommend at all unless you're local and want to save on gas or see an example of a degraded River (of which I mean mostly the lower part of the river that's too salty / freshwater starved, don't get me wrong they're still wildlife and still a fairly nice river to look at, but far from what it could be"
