Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find the Flint RiverQuarium to be a worthwhile and affordable attraction, particularly for its focus on native species and the unique Blue Hole Spring. While some areas show signs of age and could benefit from maintenance and updates, the friendly staff and educational value make it a recommended stop, especially for families.
"I have been to the aquarium now several times. The staff is always nice and glad to give you information about any of the exhibits. You can tell that there are areas that are older, but I think its more of a situation where they are doing the best they can for the funding provided. The fish are great and it definitely worth a visit if you are in the area! Love supporting local attractions!"

"The Riverquarium was interesting and easily navigable. I enjoyed seeing the native fish and other wildlife of the Flint River. However, it's in need of cleaning and updating. The computer screens for accessing "more information" do not work, aquarium windows need cleaning, etc...
It's my understanding that they are starting a major renovation - which is so needed! I hope they will stay focused on the native species, making it fun, interesting, and interactive!"

"I recently visited the Flint RiverQuarium at 101 Pine Ave, in Albany, GA. I parked near the Aquarium and entered a very beautiful building. I went to the counter and was pleasantly greeted and laid my entrance fee. The people stationed throughout the Aquarium were very nice and answered my questions on the exhibits. It's worth a visit to see native river environments."
