What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Alcova Reservoir for its stunning, multi-colored landscapes and spacious lake, making it ideal for boating and water activities. Many enjoy the hiking trails and fishing opportunities. However, some note that certain campsites can be in poor condition, and boat rentals are quite expensive.
"Beautiful!! Green, red, tan, blue, yellow… so many beautiful eye popping colors. Ive stayed at the following beaches, Black Beach, Cottonwood Beach and Okie Beach. Black Beach has covers and tables with vault toilets, not a lot of flat spots near the water. Cottonwood is a mess! There is washout everywhere, the sites, the road, etc. Had 2 bar verizon. Least favorite. My fave is Okie Beach. Has beautiful views and nice spots some with tables and covers, some with tables only, fire pits at each. Unique and pretty spot. No cell service with verizon here."
