"There are a few placards designing the history of the place. Some really nice trails to walk too and some picnic tables. I wasn't able to go inside the building or the cemetery though because they were locked. If you are passing by it's worth a stop but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way."

"My husband and I rented out this historic chapel for our wedding! We wanted a very simple day that mimicked an elopement. Mt. Zion Historic Park was the perfect venue for us. In 2023, it cost us less than $300 to rent out the chapel and grounds for 3 hours. We had about 40 guests, but the venue could have accommodated for more. The venue organizer was incredibly helpful and kind throughout the entire process. We bought two large center piece flower arrangements to put on the altar and it added the perfect amount of decoration. I would recommend this chapel to anyone looking for a more intimate budget wedding. Some of the photos are ones from our wedding day and other photos are from the day I visited the venue with the venue organizer."
