What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Glendover Park is praised for its lovely catch-and-release pond and unique playground, making it a hit with families and anglers. Visitors appreciate the spacious pavilion for gatherings. However, the lack of shade on the playground during summer and the absence of public restrooms are noted drawbacks.
"The park has a big pavilion with ~5 tables and plenty of shadows around. Very good place for BBQ and parties. But no grill around the pavilion. Has to bring your own. The pavilion is next to the lake, which brings the cool breeze. Lots of people walking their dogs around."

"Visited this park while in the area. Finally found a public city park with a duck pond! Coming from Prosper and Frisco, they have mostly subdivision private parks. At this park, You can just park under a shade tree and chill. Or get out and walk around. Or sit on benches and watch the ducks. Very clean park. Plenty of picnic tables. Playground also. Kiddo's seemed to enjoy it. Didn't see a bathroom. But gas stations are close by. Beautiful, wonderful park!"

"Nice, new playground with unique climbing attractions. However, there is no shade, so the equipment was too hot to use by 10:00 a.m. on a summer day. No public restrooms."
