"We set off toward Inspiration Point like early French fur trappers—if the trappers had purified water bottles, trail mix, and just enough cell signal to Google “is this much wheezing normal?”
Fueled by nuts, questionable choices, and the sheer momentum of not wanting to turn around, we ascended with the grace of caffeinated mountain goats in borrowed shoes. The trail was steep, the views were breathtaking—both literally and figuratively—and the chipmunks offered no emotional support whatsoever.
Disregarding safety, common sense, and the polite suggestion of our hamstrings, we pushed on. It wasn’t just a hike. It was a character-building event.
When we finally reached Inspiration Point, the view slapped us in the face with glory. Mountains, lakes, and the sweet taste of triumph (and filtered water) made it all worth it.

"If you are visiting Jenny Lake, you'll want to take a picture of the pristine lake and mountains. The best way: hike up to inspiration Point.
You can hike around the lake and up the mountain to Inspiration Point or take a short boat ride over. From the boating dock, it is roughly 0.9 miles to the top. You do not need to by actively fit, although be careful as there are some narrow points along the way.
Feel free to stop by Hidden Falls on your way up. However, it may be crowded as everyone wants a photo with the waterfall."
