What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Llano Cemetery is generally praised for its professional and sympathetic staff, who are noted for their helpfulness and care in managing grave sites. Many visitors appreciate the cemetery's role in honoring veterans with special displays and its well-maintained, tranquil atmosphere. However, some reviews mention concerns regarding headstone delivery timelines and the handling of grave decorations, indicating areas where communication and service consistency could be improved.
"Llano Cemetery has been friendly and professional in all our dealings with them. My parents did me the greatest service by arranging for their interment ahead of time, so I was not faced with that challenge when their times came. There is enough to deal with when someone passes away. Llano has helped through each step and made my life easier both those times and also with my in-laws. They called me and set things up and have offered ears to listen if I ever need it. Mom's recent service was beautiful and some of their employees attended it, which let me know they really cared. I love this older cemetery and I appreciate their care of the graves of all the family I have buried there."

"This is on behalf of my dad, Joe Hinojos and the family. Llano cemetary. My mother passes and Llano was knowledgeable in the information that we were needing. They were patient with my dad. My brother's stone was unmaintanced and a few of us reaches out. I finally reached out and ot was taken care of asap. It looks beautiful now. They are quick and responding to our emails."

"So my son David Villa passed away on Sept 8,2021 at which time we purchased several plots for the family. Everything paid in full including $12,000 for a headstone which as of today still has not been delivered. Not sure why. No one can seem to answer that question. Because I can not get answers as to why I still do not have a headstone for my sons grave, I take the time in remembrance of my son to decorate. Perhaps the cemetery does not like my decorations since today I go and find they had destroyed my decorations that I bought with my money and threw them in their bin busting them up. No regards to the families feelings. However, all around my sons grave is multiple graves with decorations that are untouched. So someone please explain to me why Llano will not produce my sons headstone but does not want me to decorate either. I take better care of my sons plot than the cemetery does I have planted grass and fertilized and mow it to keep it groomed and looking nice. I do not like posting negative things but I can not get answers from Llano."
