The pair usually hangs out along the southwestern shores of the lake, but they do actively defend the entire lake against other migratory birds such as goose and ducks. During the winter, the lake is mechanically circulated, so don't even think about trying to skate on this lake. There is a footpath around the perimeter of the lake with plenty of bench seating should one decide to sit and enjoy the serenity of this lake."
