What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Anahola Beach Park is praised for its calm, reef-protected waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling, and its relaxed, less crowded atmosphere compared to other Kauai beaches. Visitors appreciate the beautiful sunrise views and the family-friendly environment, with a calm river for younger children. Some note that seaweed can impact snorkeling visibility and caution is advised for driving on soft sand.
"Very nice arch shaped beach, one can drive car up to the sand. Good waves for body surfing or family fun time at the beach.
Beach has basic amenities, roads are not so paved. One has to be careful if the car has low clearance then don't take it in the deep sand or risk it getting stuck.
Overall it's a fun park."

"A very beautiful backdrop, a quiet place with nice beach.
The water is good for all kinds of water activities, but has loose seaweed (macroalgae?) which obscures visibility for snorkeling."
Dima Leshchinskii
"This park can only be accessed from Kukuihale Road. The bigger part (used by surfers) can be accessed by Anahola Road which is cut off by a road block that doesn't show on Google. There is plenty of parking down the dirt path and bathrooms. The sand is smooth, the water is clear, and if you swim silently there are plenty of fish to see. We also saw a turtle. Please make sure to take your trash with you."
