What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Light Speed Planet Walk for its unique concept and stunning coastal views, especially at sunset. The scale model of the solar system offers a great perspective on space. However, the 11-mile distance can be daunting for walkers, leading many to recommend bike rentals for a more enjoyable experience.
"Very nice place to visit especially around sunset. The amazing views to the mountains in combination with the ocean and the sun setting behind the mountains is beautiful. It's a place to bring kids, a bike and or hike."

"So, fun facts first: if you walk this from the sun to Pluto it will take you 5 hours and 30 minutes. But lucky for you there is a bike rental shop on the corner of L and 5th owned by a guy named Bill. Three hour bike rental is 25 bucks. With this bike you can do two things: ride the 11 miles of the coastal trail, and see all of the beautiful sights. Additionally you can see the other planets on the light speed walk much faster. I would highly recommend this option unless you want to walk for 10 miles just to see the sign for Pluto."

"Great trail. Did this one on bike and took about 3 hours with stops for photos and breaks (which was about 45 minutes of our 3 hour journey). Could easily be done in less time but its always nice to stop and look around!"
