Reviews Summary

Point Woronzof Park is a unique destination praised for its incredible plane spotting opportunities and beautiful sunset views. While some visitors find it less appealing due to industrial elements like graffiti and jet fuel smells, many appreciate the natural beauty, potential wildlife sightings, and the sheer spectacle of aviation. It's a highly recommended spot for families and aviation enthusiasts.

"So we didn’t get to hike the area as I left my tennis shoes in Texas like an idiot, but we did do some walking around. We are aviation nerds and this is a GREAT place to watch the planes! I’ll update when we go back to visit my son at UAA."

Kristey Kelley

"Excellent view at the end of the runway. Big cargo planes soar low. Highly recommend to take the 5 mile trail back to town."

Dave Allison

"Took a drive after getting breakfast on Sunday morning.. everything was just quiet. The skies were beautiful. So serene! I got video of some Moose closer to the airport. This is a nice place to come and watch the airplanes take off and land. Great place to bring your kids, especially in the summer. Ice cream trucks come out because of all the families who come. Straight out West on Northern Lights, until you can't drive out any further!"
